NAIF is proud to continue the Sunnah of our Holy Prophet ( صلىالله عليه وسلم )
to determine the Islamic months by sighting the crescent (Hilal).

The Sha'ban Hilal was sighted in the US on the evening of August 2 2008 [Rajab 30 1429].
